Building a Solidarity Economy
The Creative Aid Program is a mutual aid initiative rooted in the principles of community care, solidarity, and creative empowerment. This program provides local artists and community members access to free art materials, space to host creative events, and resources such as fresh produce from our garden.
By reducing financial and resource barriers, this program ensures that art remains accessible, nourishing, and integral to the cultural fabric of San Bernardino. Creative Aid offers event sponsorships, art materials, and free food as a holistic way to support the well-being of artists and to foster a solidarity economy at The Garcia Center for the Arts.
